Qui je suis

A proud but uncharacteristically multilingual American, I've spent the past four years kicking around Europe (Madrid and now Berlin). I'm really trying to put my finger on what's so different between the two continents. Not just the way the light switches are or the way the toilet flushes, but rather how history, semantics, pop culture, grammar and philosophy braid themselves together to produce a truly distinct approach.

I co-edit a blog out of Berlin (in English) about language, education and technology called the Babbel Blog (a coincidence, I assure you!) blog.babbel.com We are hooked up with www.babbel.com, a community for learning languages.
