Cafebabel has received Europe-wide recognition for its work as a European media, and for its efforts to promote a European public opinion.
In February 2004, the non-governmental association (NGO) Babel International, obtained consultative status at the Council of Europe.
In June 2004, café babel received the ‘European Initiative Prize', awarded by the European Press Club, the European Parliament and the House of Europe, Paris.
October 2004, we were awarded with the Newropeans Grand Prix in the Youth and Education category.
The European Movement in Germany awarded its European Movement 2005 prize to café babel in recognition of our work communicating Europe to its citizens.
